THE WORLD CHAMPION MARC COMA WINS THE RALLY DI SARDEGNA FOR THE THIRD TIME

The World Champion Marc Coma on Ktm (Team Repsol Red-Bull) won the 21st edition of the Rally di Sardegna, second test of the World Championship. Just like at the Rally of Tunisia, Coma won over the French David Casteu on Ktm (Arabas Team), vice-champion of the world 2006 and second in the world classification 2007. Third place on the podium of Tortolì, where the contest concluded, for another Spaniard, Jose Manuel Pellicer also on KTM (Profiltek Burn Team). Two Spaniards and a French on the podium and therefore still one victory of the Spanish school over the French school. Fourth, second according to the first unofficial data, Matteo Graziani who won the test of the Italian Championship, held in the last three stages. For Marc Coma this is the third victory in a row in the Sardegna, the only European test of the championship of the world. Now he’s already in the lead of the 2007 world championship with full score, followed by only six points by David Casteu, nicknamed by now the eternal second.
